I came across interesting news recently that Seoul is planning to donate used computers or pre owned computer and various other electronic components to Filipinos in the month of September.  Even though they are pre owned or used they are said to be in a good condition and is expected to be distributed to many of the state universities, colleges and public secondary schools through the commission on higher education and department of education all across Philippines. Nearly three thousand pieces of equipments including electronics, machinery, automobile, chemical engineering and architectural design would be donated by the Sung-gi vocational schools of Korea to many of the local institutions.

The Philippines government and people have welcoming the donation as they strongly feel that the electronic equipments and used computers would be of great use to many of the Filipinos who require training in automobile, chemical engineering, electronics and architectural design.  Training for the above would be given by the technical education and skills development authority.  

Return the noble gesture, manila has decided to offer English language training to nearly fifty Korean teachers as presently Filipino English teachers are not allowed to provide these courses to Koreans.  Only citizens of United States, New Zealand and Australia are enabled to teach English language in Korea.

First set of Korean teachers would be taking the training this month for nearly two months and the next set of teachers are expected to come in the year 2009 in the month of February.

I consider this gesture as a very useful one and that propagates love and consideration for the fellow human beings that many other developed nations should also take this as an example and try to help poor or developing nations worldwide.
